Jahorina osiguranje is a joint stock company founded in 1992, firstly as SOD Jahorina, and since 2003, the Company operates as under present name. The Company has built a recognizable image because it is oriented on providing insurance services which are the result of application of best experiences in insurance operations and development of insurance conditions, tariff system and technologies, and services which absolutely serve the needs of the clients. Specific insurance jobs and portfolio structure demand training and expertise of the staff, so the Company today employs around 180 employees of various profiles.

Business area of Jahorina osiguranje is consisted of Head Office in Pale and nine Branch offices with corresponding field offices throughout Republic of Srpska. Jahorina osiguranje is founder and owner of entire capital of the Companies:
- Jahorina trgovina – Pale
- Jahorina auto – Brčko
- Jahorina leasing - Bijeljina

With their activities, associated legal entities contribute to the increase of efficiency in collection of insurance premium and settlement of one part of financial liabilities. Jahorina auto through 27 facilities for technical checkup of vehicles adds additional quality to services for more than 40.000 of its insured.Since 2002, Jahorina osiguranje is operating in accordance with highest standards of quality system, and as proof it has the Certificate of Quality management system ISO 9001-9002 received from RW TUV Essen.

By following the latest trends on business-financial market, Jahorina osiguranje with 28% of equity is one of the founders and largest individual owner of Company for management of privatization-investment fund Jahorina Konseko Progres a.d. High quality reinsurance protection, of so called extra risk, is provided by Dunav Re with eminent West European reinsurers, such as Swiss re and others.
